Crayon lipstick

Yes! Crayon lipstick!! I have seen this a ton on Pinterest! I wasn't sure if it was safe though. Turns out that it is (probably) safe! :)

All you need is....Crayons and coconut oil! This is most likely safe since crayons are non-toxic and coconut oil is meant to be used in cooking! Anyways you put in on your lips not in your mouth! :)

Me and my cousins did this together! We used Crayola crayons (I think they work nicely) Our colors were Salmon, Red violet, and Violet red
We took the wrappers off and cut the ends off so we weren't using any pieces that were showing. Then we cut them in half
After that we put them in a bowl (must be microwave safe) with a 1/2 teaspoon of coconut oil. This will get it to be the texture of a lipstick. If you want it to be more like chapstick (lip balm or lipgloss) put in a whole teaspoon instead.
Melt BOTH "ingredients" together for one minute.
At first it might not look melted but, sometimes it just needs stirred. Basically keep putting it in until it is all melted and there is NO chunks.

The bowl is VERY hot! Be careful when you are getting it out! Pour the mixture into an old chapstick container. I tried it in a lipstick one and it did not work! I would just start by using a chapstick container!
There will probably be extra left over! Make sure you soak the bowls with hot water RIGHT AWAY! Or else they will dry (very quickly) and be super hard to clean. :/ trust me

It should only take about 10 minutes in the freezer for them to harden all the way. :)

NOTE: you can mix crayon colors as long as it all equals one crayon!

Anndddd that's it! These aren't as good as real lipsticks (obviously) but they sure are cool (and fun to make :) ) Hope you enjoyed thanks :) ♥
